5-Star Wellness Retreat · Non Nuoc Beach · Da Nang
Tia Wellness Resort Da Nang Review
TIA Wellness Resort is on Non Nuoc Beach in Ngu Hanh Son — Da Nang’s most serious wellness property, where the spa and daily programming are the reason the accommodation exists, not the other way around.
TIA Wellness Resort (formerly Fusion Maia Da Nang) is at Truong Sa Street, Hoa Hai Ward, Ngu Hanh Son District — Non Nuoc Beach, about 15km south of the city centre. This is the same southern resort corridor as Naman Retreat and the Meliá. It is not a central My Khe location. City dining requires taxi commitment; the beach is calm and uncrowded.
The property doesn’t obscure what it is: a wellness retreat with accommodation, not a hotel with a spa attached. Daily spa treatment inclusion (in most packages), yoga pavilions, meditation programming, and a resolutely adult atmosphere make the positioning genuine. The design — bamboo, stone, organic forms — reinforces this from the moment you arrive.
Non Nuoc Beach in front of TIA is calm and quiet. The Marble Mountains are a 10-minute drive. Hoi An is 25–30 minutes south. The whole experience works best if you commit to 3+ days on-site rather than treating it as a base for daily excursions.
Location & Getting There
Truong Sa Street, Hoa Hai Ward, Ngu Hanh Son District — Non Nuoc Beach, approximately 15km south of Da Nang city centre. The property is in the same southern resort corridor as Naman Retreat. Marble Mountains are a 10-minute drive. Hoi An is 25–30 minutes south.
Airport transfer takes 20–25 minutes. City dining requires a Grab — budget 80,000–120,000 VND each way. Non Nuoc beach here is calm, clean, and quiet. For a wellness retreat, the peaceful setting is an asset rather than an inconvenience.
The Rooms
Villas and suites designed around natural materials and calming spatial principles. The organic architecture is distinctive and consistent. Some categories have outdoor showers in enclosed private gardens. Beds are excellent. Rates from around $180–250/night. Pool villa categories with private pools are where the property is most compelling for longer stays.
Pool, Beach & Facilities
Small resort pool — the vibe here is meditative rather than resort-leisure. Beach access is direct and quiet. The spa and wellness centre is the main facility: yoga pavilions, meditation spaces, hydrotherapy, and a full treatment menu that's serious rather than decorative. Fitness leans toward yoga, Pilates, and bodyweight work rather than the standard hotel gym setup.
Food & Drink
The restaurant focuses on wellness cuisine — nutritious, well-sourced, often plant-forward. It's genuinely good food within its framework, better than the 'healthy hotel food' category usually delivers. The Vietnamese dishes with local herbs and produce are the standout. If you want a burger or a beer, An Thuong is 10 minutes away. The in-house dining works best when you're committed to the overall wellness experience.
Excellent at what it sets out to do. The wellness positioning is genuine, the execution is the best in Da Nang, and the room quality is a bonus. Only book it if the wellness concept is the actual reason for the stay — everything else follows from that.
The Good Stuff
- Most serious wellness programming in Da Nang — not a hotel with a spa, an actual retreat concept
- Room design is genuinely beautiful — the natural materials and organic architecture create real calm
- Small property means genuine personal attention
- Beach access combined with quiet atmosphere — rare combination in Da Nang
- The programming actually works if you commit to it for 3+ days
Worth Knowing
- Very specific concept — wrong choice if you want resort-scale facilities or party atmosphere
- Rates are high relative to room size alone — you're paying for the programming and atmosphere
- The food philosophy won't suit everyone — venture to An Thuong if you want variety
Who Should Stay Here
Solo retreaters, couples doing a deliberate slow trip, anyone who wants to actually decompress rather than just relax. Not suited to families, city explorers, or anyone who wants a conventional hotel experience with a spa attached.
