Azura Da Nang is a Han River area city hotel — a compact, well-run property that trades beach access for a central location, personal service, and easier reach of Da Nang’s dining and attractions.

Azura is a city hotel in Da Nang’s Han River district — not a beach property. It’s positioned centrally, within easy reach of the Dragon Bridge, Bach Dang Street, and the Han Market. If your trip is about exploring Da Nang rather than lying on a beach all week, this positioning is a genuine asset.

The hotel is small by Da Nang standards, which works in its favour on service. Smaller staff-to-guest ratio means more personal attention than you’d find at a 200-room resort. That’s the core argument for Azura: a reliable, well-located city hotel at rates that compete with much less interesting options.

Beach access requires a Grab — My Khe is about 4km east, 10–15 minutes by taxi. For guests planning daily beach trips, factor that in. For guests who want a central base for city exploration with occasional beach days, the location works well and the savings versus beachfront hotels are real.

Location & Getting There

Central Da Nang, Han River area. Walking distance to the Han Market, Dragon Bridge, and Bach Dang Street seafood restaurants. Airport is around 15 minutes by taxi. My Khe Beach is about 4km east — reachable by Grab in 10–15 minutes, the same as any other Han River property.

The central location means Da Nang’s best street food, the night market, Da Nang Cathedral, and the Museum of Cham Sculpture are all accessible without a taxi. For a city-focused stay, the positioning is strong.

The Rooms

Room categories are contemporary and well-specified without trying to be flashy. Standard rooms around 40–50sqm, properly equipped. Sea-view rooms are the clear pick and the balcony views are good for the price. Bathrooms are modern. The overall impression is quality without fuss — which matches the property's character throughout. Rates from around $90–120/night representing genuine My Khe beachfront value.

Pool, Beach & Facilities

Pool faces the beach with a clean design. The best thing about the Azura's pool is that it's not huge — meaning it's also rarely crowded or noisy. Beach service with loungers and umbrellas. Spa with good-quality therapists — the massage quality here consistently gets positive comments from guests who've tried the bigger resort spas and prefer the more personal approach. Gym is basic but functional.

Food & Drink

Restaurant handles breakfast and dinner competently. Breakfast is a reasonable spread with good Vietnamese options. For dinner, the An Thuong proximity makes this an easy call — walk or Grab to Nen, Luna Pub, or one of the My Khe-area seafood places and you're eating better than any hotel kitchen on this strip provides.

A consistent performer that often outperforms expectations set by its category. The service quality and value proposition are the real arguments for it. Good alternative to the larger My Khe properties if the big-resort energy doesn't appeal.

The Good Stuff

  • Boutique scale means genuine personal service delivery
  • Good spa therapist quality — often better than the larger resort spas
  • Calm, adult atmosphere without being uptight about it
  • Strong value for My Khe beachfront — one of the better price-to-quality ratios on the strip
  • Better city access than Non Nuoc without sacrificing beach quality

Worth Knowing

  • Small facilities footprint — one pool, limited infrastructure
  • No kids' club — not the right choice for families
  • In-house dinner dining is functional rather than interesting
