The Radisson Hotel Danang is at 170 Vo Nguyen Giap — one of the more centrally located beach properties in Da Nang, about 2–3km from the Dragon Bridge with the sand directly across the road.

The Radisson Hotel Danang (formerly Radisson Blu Resort Da Nang) is at 170 Vo Nguyen Giap — My Khe Beach, roughly 2–3km from the city centre. This is one of the closer beach options to downtown Da Nang. Grab to the Dragon Bridge or Han Market takes under 10 minutes. An Thuong is about the same distance.

It’s a newer property with clean Art Deco-influenced design, a rooftop infinity pool with ocean views, a good breakfast, and a beachfront position that doesn’t require a long taxi to access from the city. Service consistency is solid. The gym equipment is notably newer than at some longer-established properties on the strip.

Radisson Rewards applies, though the programme carries less weight than Bonvoy or Hilton Honors for frequent international travellers. Rates from around $120–160/night in mid-season are competitive for a beach hotel at this central location.

Location & Getting There

170 Vo Nguyen Giap, Son Tra District — My Khe Beach, approximately 2–3km from the Dragon Bridge and Da Nang city centre. This is one of the most central beachfront positions in Da Nang. An Thuong restaurant district is about 10 minutes by Grab. Airport runs 12–15 minutes.

Beach access is direct — Vo Nguyen Giap runs along the waterfront and the hotel sits right on it. My Khe here is in its northern section, busy on weekends but with good service infrastructure. Lifeguards are on duty during daylight hours.

The Rooms

Contemporary design that benefits from being recent — the finishings are sharp, the furniture is current, the bathrooms have good shower setups. Standard rooms at 45sqm are well laid out. Sea-view categories have properly oriented ocean balconies. Beds are comfortable. Rates from around $120–160/night in mid-season represent competitive My Khe five-star pricing. Radisson Rewards applies but the programme is less compelling than Bonvoy or Hilton Honors for frequent international travellers.

Pool, Beach & Facilities

Main infinity pool faces the ocean properly with a clean design. Beach access is direct with attentive attendant service. Kids' pool area accommodates families without dominating the pool environment. The gym is modern — the equipment here is newer than at several established competitors and it shows. Spa operates with good therapist quality.

Food & Drink

Breakfast is the standout — one of the better spreads on the My Khe strip, particularly the Vietnamese morning food station. The main restaurant handles all-day dining competently. Beach bar works for afternoon drinks. For evening dining, An Thuong's independent restaurants are 10 minutes away and consistently more interesting than what any hotel kitchen on this strip produces.

A legitimate option that earns its place on the strip. The facilities are newer and the design is more contemporary than established competitors. Compare with the Sheraton Grand — similar price range, different loyalty programme landscape.

The Good Stuff

  • Newer property — facilities and equipment reflect it (good gym, sharp finishes)
  • Ocean-facing pool design is properly oriented
  • Strong breakfast by My Khe five-star standards
  • Modern gym equipment better than at some established competitors
  • Good My Khe central location with An Thuong access

Worth Knowing

  • Radisson Rewards less valuable than Bonvoy or Hilton Honors for regular international travellers
  • Building reputation rather than having confirmed it — smaller sample size than older properties
  • In-house dinner menus are competent but not the reason to stay

Who Should Stay Here

Travellers without strong brand loyalty programme ties who want a modern My Khe five-star at competitive rates. Good comparison to the Sheraton Grand at a similar price point.
