Large beachfront resort on central My Khe. Strong brand value.
The Sheraton Grand Danang sits on Non Nuoc Beach with the longest pool in Da Nang at 250 metres, a serious resort with a location argument that its Non Nuoc neighbours can't match.
The Sheraton Grand's case is straightforward: it's on Non Nuoc Beach, it has a 250-metre infinity pool, the breakfast is excellent, and it's positioned at the northern end of the Non Nuoc resort strip, which means it's 14km from the city centre rather than 13km, but meaningfully closer to An Thuong restaurant district than the Hyatt or Marriott further south.
The 250-metre pool is the headline facility, and it earns it. It runs parallel to the beach with unobstructed sea views. The first time you walk out to it in the morning, nobody in the pool yet, the South China Sea in front, the Marble Mountains visible at the far end, it's one of those hotel moments that photographs badly and feels significantly better than the photograph.
Bonvoy benefits apply generously here. I've stayed as a Platinum member twice and both times received meaningful room upgrades. The Sheraton Grand's location relative to the Hyatt and Marriott makes it the easy Bonvoy choice for Non Nuoc, you're on the same beach, at a similar rate, and slightly closer to city access.

Location & Getting There
35 Truong Sa Street, Ngu Hanh Son District, Non Nuoc Beach, 14km south of Da Nang city centre. The northern end of the main Non Nuoc resort cluster. Airport is 20–25 minutes. Hoi An is 25–30 minutes south, slightly closer than from the Hyatt because of the more southerly Hoi An direction. Marble Mountains are about 3km north, 10 minutes by Grab.
An Thuong restaurant district is 15–18 minutes by Grab, closer than from the Hyatt and Marriott's more southerly positions. This is a genuine distinction for guests who plan to go out for dinner more than once or twice during a stay. The Sheraton Grand's northern Non Nuoc position is the best location compromise in the five-star tier: Non Nuoc beach quality with better city and An Thuong access than its resort neighbours.
Non Nuoc Beach here is wide and well-maintained with lifeguards during beach hours. Waves pick up from July onwards, the pools (especially the 250m pool) become the primary swimming option from mid-summer. The beach is one of Da Nang's better stretches regardless of season.
The Rooms
Rooms are genuinely large, standard categories start at 55sqm, which feels it. Contemporary design in teal and sand tones, functional and well-maintained. Sea-view balconies face the ocean with unobstructed views from mid-floors upward. Beds are solid Sheraton brand quality, the brand's Sheraton Sleep programme delivers consistently.
Bathrooms are large with proper rain showers. Bathtubs in premium categories. The room doesn't try to be distinctive in the way Naman or the InterContinental do, it's a well-executed contemporary hotel room rather than a design statement. At Sheraton Grand pricing that's the right trade.
Bonvoy benefits apply fully. For Platinum and Titanium members, the Sheraton Grand is one of the better Non Nuoc upgrade properties, the room inventory includes higher-category sea-view rooms that make a meaningful difference. The Sheraton's Club Lounge access for eligible members provides a breakfast and evening cocktail alternative to the main restaurants.
Rates from $155–220/night in shoulder season. Comparable to the Hyatt on price but with the location advantage for city and An Thuong access. Peak July–August pushes $250–350+.

Pool, Beach & Facilities
The 250-metre infinity pool is the genuine headline: Da Nang's longest hotel pool, running parallel to the beach with an unobstructed sea view from edge to edge. Not all beach hotel pools get the orientation right, some face the landscaping or have buildings in the sightline. This one is correctly positioned and properly maintained. Early morning before 8am you have a 250-metre pool and the South China Sea to yourself.
The kids' mini water park is a genuine family facility, proper small slides, splash zones, a separate shallow pool that works for young children without the safety concerns of the main pool. For families with children between 4 and 10 this is a meaningful differentiator. The kids' club is supervised and runs a programme.
Beach service is consistently attentive. Sunbeds and umbrellas are maintained, the beach team respond to requests promptly. Non Nuoc Beach here is wide and well-maintained. Watersports equipment is available. The spa is a full operation, pre-booking recommended.
The pool management discipline is one of the Sheraton Grand's operational strengths. Even in peak season the 250m pool's length means there's always swimming space available, and the lounger availability is managed better than at several Non Nuoc competitors.

Food & Drink
Mai Restaurant handles all-day dining and breakfast. The breakfast is one of the Non Nuoc cluster's strongest: a substantial Vietnamese and international spread with a properly stocked made-to-order section. The Vietnamese morning food station, pho, bun bo Hue, banh cuon, is better executed than at many comparable Non Nuoc resorts. Plan a long breakfast on the first and last mornings at minimum.
The Beach Bar has solid cocktails with reasonable happy hour pricing (typically 4–7pm). The beach setting makes the happy hour drinks the daily routine that most guests fall into by day two, cold beer or a cocktail at the beach bar while the sun moves toward the Marble Mountains is the specific Sheraton Grand experience worth planning for.
For serious evening dining: An Thuong is 15–18 minutes by Grab. The proximity advantage over the Hyatt and Marriott is meaningful for dinner trips. Nen, Madame Lan's, and the My Khe seafood strip are all reachable in under 20 minutes. Two or three An Thuong evenings during a week-long stay is the standard pattern for guests who've done this before.
Club Lounge (for eligible Bonvoy members) serves evening cocktails and canapes, a genuine benefit that reduces the daily F&B cost for Platinum and above members who would otherwise be paying resort bar prices for pre-dinner drinks.
Best location compromise in the Non Nuoc five-star tier: Non Nuoc beach, 250-metre infinity pool, and closer to An Thuong than either the Hyatt or Marriott.
