Hotels vs. private rentals in Da Nang

Da Nang's hotel market is unusually strong at every price point. A $70 hotel here typically gets you a rooftop pool and attentive service that would cost twice as much in Phuket. For most visitors, a hotel is the better value over Airbnb, unless your group is bigger than four people or you specifically want a kitchen and home-style living.

Private rentals make more sense for families or groups of five or more, stays longer than two weeks, digital nomads who want a real workspace and a kitchen, or travelers who'd rather have the An Thuong serviced-apartment feel than a resort lobby.

Where to find private rentals

The An Thuong neighborhood and the streets just behind My Khe Beach have the highest concentration of serviced apartments and private villa rentals. The most reliable way to find one is through Airbnb directly, filtering for Da Nang with your dates and group size.

What to expect on price

A well-located one-bedroom apartment near the beach typically runs $35 to $65 a night. A private three-bedroom villa with a pool runs $120 to $250, depending on season and proximity to the beach.

Peak season (June through August) adds roughly 30 to 40 percent on top of that.
