The InterContinental is carved into the Son Tra hillside, terracing down toward its own bay, there's genuinely nothing comparable within an hour of Da Nang. Furama sits flat on My Khe beachfront with mature gardens that have had two decades to grow in. One is a spectacle, the other is settled and calm.
