Hilton's Tapestry Collection brand arrived in Vietnam this week with the opening of NHAAN Resort & Spa Hoi An in Cam Thanh village, about five kilometers south of the Hoi An Ancient Town. The opening on August 7 makes it the brand's first property in the country.

The resort was designed by Vo Trong Nghia, a Vietnamese architect whose studio has built a reputation for working with bamboo and natural materials. At NHAAN, the approach is what Hilton describes as biophilic architecture: the buildings use organic materials and are oriented around the Co Co River, with river-facing rooms and outdoor spaces meant to integrate with the surrounding wetland landscape.

What the property offers

The resort has 174 rooms and suites, including a presidential suite and 19 connecting room configurations for families or groups. Four restaurants and bars are on site, along with an eforea spa and an infinity pool. The largest event space handles up to 148 guests.

Rates start at around 2,386,000 VND per night, which works out to roughly $93 USD at current exchange. The property is bookable on the Hilton Honors platform, and Hilton is running a promotional package offering 5,000 bonus points for stays of three or more nights booked before December 15, 2026.

Location and access

Cam Thanh is a quieter commune on the southern edge of Hoi An, known for the coconut palm waterways used for boat tours. The resort's Co Co River location puts it away from the crowds of the Ancient Town center, which suits travelers who want Hoi An access without being in the thick of it. The Ancient Town's main streets are about a 10-15 minute taxi or scooter ride away.

Da Nang International Airport is roughly 30 kilometers north. Most visitors arriving by air will take a taxi or pre-arranged transfer, which typically runs 30-40 minutes depending on traffic.

Why it matters for Hoi An's hotel market

Hoi An's accommodation market has been dominated by independent boutique properties and smaller local hotels, with a few established international brands concentrated around An Bang Beach. The NHAAN opening brings a full Hilton Honors-connected property into the mix, which matters for travelers who prefer points redemptions or who need the reliability guarantee of a major chain. It is also the first significant international brand opening in the Hoi An area in several years.

The Tapestry Collection is Hilton's soft-brand category, designed for independent hotels that want Hilton's distribution and loyalty system while keeping a distinct identity. NHAAN's design-led approach fits that model.

For travelers planning a Hoi An trip, the property adds a credible upper-midscale option outside the town center.
