Premier Village vs Sheraton Grand Da Nang
Premier Village's private villa concept versus Sheraton Grand's conventional luxury. Both on the southern beach strip, very different stays.

Premier Village is the only all-villa resort on the main My Khe Beach strip. Every unit has a private plunge pool and faces the ocean. You get the privacy of a villa without the isolation of somewhere like the InterContinental. [VERIFY: villa count and pool configuration]
The Sheraton Grand is a conventional tower resort better suited to families. The kids infrastructure is the best on My Khe. At roughly half the price, the Sheraton is the obvious choice for anyone who doesn't specifically want a private villa.
Location Comparison
| Category | Premier Village Da Nang Resort | Sheraton Grand Da Nang Resort |
|---|---|---|
| Beach | Direct My Khe beach access | Direct My Khe beach access |
| From airport | ~22 min · $6–8 | ~20 min · $5–7 |
| From city centre | ~22 min Grab | ~20 min Grab |
| Nearest restaurants | An Thuong ~20 min Grab | An Thuong ~15 min Grab |
| Hoi An | ~35 min south | ~35 min south |
| Marble Mountains | ~20 min south | ~20 min south |
Both properties are in the same resort zone on the southern end of My Khe Beach, close enough that location is not a meaningful differentiator. The Sheraton is slightly closer to the city, but neither hotel is somewhere you walk out of for dinner.

Final Verdict
Premier Village is a one-idea hotel and the idea is good: private pool villa on a good beach. If that is what you are coming for, it delivers without the isolation penalty of somewhere like the InterContinental.
The Sheraton is a better family hotel by almost every measure. Kids club, connecting rooms, larger shared pool, lower price. For a couple, the Sheraton is adequate but Premier Village is the more interesting experience.
The price gap is real. Premier Village runs roughly double the Sheraton's rack rate. Whether a private pool justifies that difference is a personal call, but it is the only hotel in the My Khe zone where that option exists.
